Hear Here Hartford
A Chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of American
Our Mission is to empower teens and young adults to overcome their everyday life challenges associated with hearing loss. We aim to do this using a mentor model. Mentors participating in our chapter are all successful, hearing impaired adults who freely share their experience to provide hope, inspiration, and support to our young members. With support of dedicated mentors, as well as Teachers of the Hearing Impaired, our Chapter strives to help our youth move toward acceptance of their hearing loss and find strategies to manage it in everyday life situations.
What works for your child is what makes the choice right

From time to time CT Hands & Voices receives information about events and other items of interest from sponsoring organizations that we pass onto our members that we feel might be of interest to our constituency. These events may not necessarily reflect the viewpoint of CT Hands & Voices, and relies on our membership to deem what is of value to their own interests.
